Are there any other tutors you would recommend?
Both of my children have been receiving Spanish tutoring from Diane since January 2021. Initially, we sought her support to provide structured learning during the lockdown period, as I was occupied with teaching my own classes online.
Diane has been exceptionally patient and supportive, particularly given that both of my children have SEND. My eldest child, who is currently studying Spanish for his GCSEs, is excelling in the subject, thanks to the strong foundation Diane has provided over the past few years. In fact, during a trip to Bilbao last year, he was able to hold a conversation, when we became lost in the mountains, with a native Spanish speaker which enabled us to work out how to get back to our holiday home. Similarly, our daughter was able to order drinks and meals and purchase bus tickets confidently throughout our trip.
I cannot recommend Diane highly enough. Her expertise, patience, and dedication have been invaluable in fostering both of my children’s language skills and confidence.

Are there any resources you would recommend?
If you are studying GCSE Sociology then I would recommend the Revision Guide that I co-wrote which is available on Amazon.
Each topic is covered on one spread and we made explicit the three skills required by students across both papers. Detailed exam advice is included, with hints and tips offered throughout the book to help students develop the skills needed for the exam.
I am currently using Sebastian to help support my son, who is currently working towards achieving a
Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and, like many teenagers, is convinced that his mother knows nothing!
His guidance has already had a noticeable impact on my son’s attitude towards his studies, developing
greater engagement and an appropriate confidence in himself and his maths.
Anna Wood has 17 years experience teaching Geography as Head of Humanities in school and 4 years experience
